Empowering Non-Profits Through Grant Writing Education.

Our one-on-one grant writing workshops are designed to empower IRS qualified non-profit organizations. Participants will learn the essential skills needed to research and write successful grants, helping them secure vital funding for their missions. This will include learning how to incorporate AI as a tool to assist you. Each nonprofit will receive a 4-week workshop series focused on your needs. Each session of the series will be taught on the same day each week via Teams from 9 AM to 1 PM. (CST) Through the generosity of our donors, we are able to offer these workshops at no charge to your nonprofit.
Learning opportunity spaces are booked for April & May of 2025. Now taking reservations for June and July of 2025. Email me if interested.
My name is Jason Skoog and I have been a Chief Development Officer for the past 15 years for 2 nonprofit organizations. Prior to entering the nonprofit world, I spent over 15 years as a Staff Accountant including 10 years as an Auditor.
I have been a featured guest speaker on multiple occasions for a few national fundraising webinars. One of which is still one of the top 5 rated scoring webinars on the GiveSmart platform. My teaching style is more conversational and hands-on teaching versus lecturing. I truly believe people learn better by seeing and doing versus just listening.
I have a Master of Arts degree in Organizational Management from Concordia University in St. Paul, MN. In 2019, I was honored with induction into the inaugural class of the Graduate Honors Society at Concordia. I was chosen out of thousands of candidates along with 21 other inductees. I finished my Master's program with a 3.84 GPA.
My Master's Capstone Thesis was titled: Successful Grant Writing: Secrets to Writing a Successful Grant Application. I have helped numerous nonprofits secure over $3 million in grants and other charitable donations.
I have also served on nonprofit boards as the Treasurer and board member. I have a heart for serving as I have been a mentor to a now 23-year-old young man since the lad was 8 years old.
In addition to all of this, I have owned two small businesses. One business was focused around my invention called the Golf Ad for which I wrote and obtained a United States Patent. The second small business focuses on utilizing nature artwork on the back of vehicles and enclosed trailers. I still operate this small business called Space Case Jase occasionally.
